DAILY ERIC

is a collection of enamel portraits of my friend Eric, with whom I was very close for many years and whom I enjoyed photographing as a model.

When I conquered the technique of enamelling, I drew his face over and over again.
Monet must have felt the same way with his haystacks. At some point, the subject of the picture - in this case the person Eric - slipped out of focus and only the ever new translation became of interest.
