CUT ME A SMILE

is a collection of small, poetic, self-contained arrangements.

To enhance the narrative of my photographs I combine them with lyrics, graphics or other media. The lyrics for these images are written by the artist Ella Moe who developed the format 'three sentence stories' for this series. The interaction between the various media creates new relationships and dimensions.

In exhibitions, each of these arrangements has its very own form of presentation. Some are expansive installations, others play with optical effects. The physical installations of the artwork subtly adds another narrative level.

All works were created in 2018.
